How to use our Data Purchasing Interface:
- Enter a location in the search box.
You can enter a search radius if you want to see all the stations
within a certain distance of your location.
- Click Search Map. The map will then zoom in to your location.
*Note that each green balloon represents a
weather station with data near the location you searched for. You can zoom in and out on the map to see other/more stations.
- Click on a balloon and click on Archived Hourly Weather Data to begin to see what data we have
available for that location.
If it says no data found when you click on the balloon we do not have any data online for that station.
Please contact us and we will see what the offline data availability is.
- After you click on Archived Hourly Weather Data scroll up and on the right side of the screen will be information
about the online dates of availability. We currently have data prior to 2000 only available offline. Please
contact us to obtain that data.
- If you want:
- A few specific hourly reports: click on the date tab. (Go to Step 6)
- All the hourly reports over a specific range of time (Ex. January 2 to January 4): click on the date range tab.
(Go to step 8)
- More specific than date range but not as specific as date: click the filter tab (Ex. Data for every January for all years or
data for every February 3 for all years). (Go to step 10)
- Enter a date in the box using the format shown or click on the box and select a date using the calendar. A list
of hourly reports available will appear below. The format for what is shown is Month/Day/Year Time(in UTC format). To convert that UTC time
to your local time please check out our UTC Time Conversion Chart

- To purchase a specific hourly observation click add to cart next to the hourly report you want. If you scroll up you can see the data in the red shopping cart.
- Enter a start date for the date range and an end date. You can type them in manually using the date format shown
or click on the box and a calendar will appear. The number of hourly reports available during that time will be shown below. All of our
observations are given in UTC Time. More information about UTC Time is available on our
Frequently Asked Questions Page.
- To purchase all of those observations click add to cart. If you scroll up you can see the data in the red
shopping cart.
- If you want all of one months data for all years click on the month you desire, then in the day section select
on every date (you can click and hold to select all the dates), lastly select all the years. You can select things in a similar fashion for
other things (like every February 14) for each year. The number of hourly reports available during that time will be shown below. All of our
observations are given in UTC Time. More information about UTC Time is available on our
Frequently Asked Questions Page.
- To purchase all of those observations click add to cart. If you scroll up you can see the data in the red
shopping cart.
- When you are ready to checkout scroll up and click on checkout in the shopping cart or PayPal to pay with your
PayPal account.
- If you wish to remove some items from your cart click on the shopping cart link and remove items from your cart.
You can then click on the Checkout link or the PayPal icon to continue to complete the transaction.
- To checkout using:
- PayPal login as you normally would and enter the necessary information. We send the data to your email address.
- Using our online checkout system please fill in all fields on our checkout form with current valid information. We will be sending your
data to the email address you enter. Click confirm order at the bottom of the page.
- The data will arrive in your email account shortly.
- To view the data in Excel (or another spreadsheet document) right click on the link under CSV: and click save link target. Save to a location you will remember. To open that file right click on the file and under open with click on your spreadsheet
program (Ex. Excel) and click okay on the next screen. If you have any trouble with this please
contact us and we will assist you with viewing your data.
